Tara Bampton recently completed a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Honours Class I) at the University of Sydney and is commencing a PhD investigating bacterial contamination and antimicrobial resistance in commercial boar semen. Her research combines microbiology and reproductive biology to better understand bacterial impacts on semen quality and to develop sustainable antimicrobial stewardship strategies for the Australian pork industry.
