Grace Donaldson is a PhD candidate at the University of Auckland researching the application of artificial intelligence in automating bull sperm assessment and fertility prediction. Her work combines reproductive biology, and machine learning to develop objective tools for livestock breeding. Prior to commencing her PhD, she worked in equine reproductive biotechnology, developing non-invasive methods to determine embryo sex from embryo culture media. Her research interests focus on translating emerging technologies into practical solutions for animal reproduction and breeding.
