I am a PhD student at the University of Sydney investigating the genomics of seasonal breeding in canids. Two breeds of dog, the Basenji and Tibetan Mastiff, are of particular interest to me as they are predominately seasonal breeders, in contrast to most breeds of dog, which are non-seasonal.
